Join our Alpine Race & Events team and be part of delivering high-quality race operations across training and competition environments.

As an Alpine Timing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in race delivery by setting up and operating timing systems, supporting race officials, and ensuring accurate, timely results in line with event standards.

Work closely with the Race & Events crew to support safe, compliant competitions, contribute to smooth event flow on race day, and help maintain the technical integrity of our Alpine racing programs.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Setting up, operating, and monitoring alpine race timing systems to deliver accurate and reliable results
  • Supporting race delivery by working closely with officials, coaches, and the Race & Events team on training and event days
  • Assisting with on-hill event operations, including start/finish setup, course support, and equipment handling
  • Working independently within established race protocols while maintaining a strong focus on safety and precision
  • Participating in event briefings, system testing, and ongoing training to build technical and operational capability

What You'll Bring

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and focused in time-critical environments
  • Technical aptitude and confidence learning or operating timing hardware and software (e.g. Alge, Microgate, Tag Heuer, Vola - SkiAlpPro and FDS)
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach
  • A professional attitude, reliability, and commitment to safety and event standards

Your Availability

Our Race & Events team are employed casually, with the following options:

Unlimited Availability: Our Race & Events crew, typically work up to six (6) days per week over Winter (June–September). Ideal for consistent work, skill development and eligibility for staff accommodation.

Limited Availability: For balancing other commitments. Must meet minimum availability requirements (see below), and arrange your own accommodation:
