Position: Sr. Requirements Analyst

Clearance: Top Secret Clearance Required

Location: Arlington, VA 

Support to the Joint Force Integration Cell (JFIC) to integrate activities and create transparency across the Departmental stakeholders including, but not limited to, the Combatant Commands, Services, Office of the Secretary of Defense and wherever possible, with the Interagency and Allies & Partners. The JFIC conducts research, analyses, assessments, and integration activities to inform and develop senior leader recommendations, and to shape the future Joint Force.

Duties:

         Analyze Combatant Commander, Service, or Defense Agency issues for action by the JFIC to include capability documents such as Initial Capability Documents (ICD); Capability Development Documents (CDD); Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) Change Recommendations (DCR); White Papers; Concepts of Operations (CONOPS); and Joint Concepts.

         Support for Action Officer and General Officer / Flag Officer meetings

         Written draft assessments of assigned topics, such as identified capability gaps and on-going/future assessments.

         Analyze proposals, assess new capabilities, and propose recommendations to close gaps and mitigate risk.

         Input to and incorporate science and technology and results of experimentation efforts into assessments.

         Strategic planning to shape the environment; analytic development to shape the analyses; and analytic assessment to exploit products and results

         Perform knowledge management functions such as portal management, information management, records management.

         Senior Leader decision support to the Directorate leadership

Experience:

         Bachelor’s degree: advanced degree may be required.

         12 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
