Detroit or Toledo Area for Client Facing Opportunity


Our Client, a highly respected Global Relocation Management Company dedicated to superior client and customer service is searching for an Executive International Assignment Consultant (IAC) to join the team in a virtual work arrangement with the commitment of being at a corporate client site one day a week in Toledo, OH.    There will be a commuter allowance provided.

The Exective IAC will administer all components of international relocations for assignees and Clients.  The Executive IAC will perform initial consultation with assignee, arrange authorized services, monitor the status of the relocation/assignment, and actively manage service escalations to ensure that all services are delivered per the corporate Client expectations. To coordinate and administer all components of international relocations for assignees and clients of our Client’s corporate account.  The Executive IAC performs initial consultation with assignee, arranges services as determined by the services agreement and as authorized by account move policy. Coordinates with individual service providers to arrange the delivery of international services, including policy review, moving services, destination services, immigration, tax counseling, cross cultural training, language training, temporary living and any other required services for the Client’s customers.

Required Skills

  • Provide assignee and corporation with single point of coordination, from initiation of service to completion of relocation assignment.  Acts as ‘GO TO’ person for all assignees needs during move.
  • Manage appropriate caseload.
  • Assist with the development of provider/partner network.
  • Identifies customer’s service requirements/needs to ensure assignee satisfaction with international services.
  • Assist with the review of current services to determine the effectiveness and price-competitiveness of programs.
  • Maintains communication with assignee relocates to ensure their satisfaction and to determine when they will repatriate in order to communicate a plan that promotes utilization of services for repatriation.
  • Client facing – this role will be required to be onsite with the corporate client in Toledo, OH 1-2 days/ week
  • In-person meetings with both Client Mobility, HR Partners, and relocating employees while onsite
  • Answer questions from HR and Client Mobility on assignment/relocation package creation
  • Raise possible process improvement ideas to management/Account Manager

Required Experience

Education:  Degree in Business or related field or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience:  3-5 years of experience in International relocation.  Understanding of the complexities of international relocations (visa, taxing, etc).  Prefer someone who has lived overseas.

Licenses/Certifications/Specialized Training:   Knowledge and skills of PCs and associated software.
