Reporting to the Director, IMP Aerospace Bid Management Team, this position is a core member of the Bid Management Team responsible for the consolidation of information and provision of content management support. This position plays a key role in regards to proposal coordination, graphics and desktop publishing.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Coordinate proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, including Subject Matter Experts (SME) from IMP functional departments.
Champion document management and change control best practice.
Ensure proposal documents follow standard formatting and quality standards.
Provide advice on document flow, language and grammar to content owners.
Consolidate sections and documents developed by others into the defined/required format.
Support the production of presentations/documentation that is consistently of the highest quality and impact.
Create and manage a range of document and presentation templates as well as maintenance of the master document template library.
Ensure consistent terminology and formatting for all proposal specific documents.
Supervise bid-related Illustration and Technical Publications activities as required, maintaining a comprehensive library of images and artifacts.
Develop proposal graphics that have impact and are easy to interpret.

Post-secondary education – University degree would be preferred
Must possess the ability to work in a deadline driven environment without compromising the level of excellence of the bid response.
Strong interpersonal skills – will be required to work within a diverse, multi-disciplinary environment.
Hard working, collaborative, and receptive to guidance/feedback.
Professional team player with a positive attitude: committed, motivated and driven.
High level of competence in regards to professional writing is required.
Advanced computer skills with MS Office Suite (Word and PowerPoint in particular).
Previous experience in the use of Desktop Publishing software would be preferred.
Previous experience in the preparation of bid and proposal responses would be preferred.
Ability to think outside the box with a strong attention to detail.
Previous experience working on multi-disciplinary teams would be preferred.

Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security clearances.
