I understand that references to Styron shall refer collectively to Styron and certain of its subsidiaries, and their employees, representatives, and agents.

I certify that the information provided on this application (and resume, if applicable) is true and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that should I receive an offer of employment, it will be conditioned upon my undergoing and successfully passing a job related baseline medical examination before my report-to-work date and before beginning my initial job assignment. I also understand that if I am offered a position, I will be expected to sign an original Employee Agreement. The Employee Agreement sets forth the conditions under which Styron is assigned the entire right, title and interest to any inventions and discoveries made by employees while in Styron’s employ. The Employee Agreement also commits employees not to divulge to anyone or use, either during or after employment, any trade secret or confidential technical or business information of Styron other than required in duties while employed by Styron. The Employee Agreement also commits employees not to compete in certain areas following termination of employment with Styron. Further, the Employee Agreement also protects any previous employer or third party from disclosure of technical or business information that may have been acquired illegally or with restrictions as to secrecy and confirms the “at-will” nature of Styron employment.
