Eagleville Hospital is currently hiring Registered Nurses to our Per Diem Pool 

New progressive compensation program linked to work committment levels

 

Tier 1:

Four (4) shifts per month, including two (2) weekend shifts 

One (1) summer holiday and one (1) winter holiday

Pay Rate: $37.51 per hour plus $2.00/hr when working D2E/D2W/OAU-PC1/D1W and applicable shift differential of $2.00/hr for even and night shift.

Tier 2:

Eight (8) shifts per month

One (1) Friday, one (1) Saturday, and one (1) Sunday shift

One (1) summer holiday and one (1) winter holiday

Pay Rate: $39 per hour plus applicable acute and shift differentials.

Tier 3:

Twelve (12) shifts per month

Two (2) Friday shifts, two (2) Saturday shifts, and two (2) Sunday shifts

Holiday Schedule A or B

Pay Rate: $40 per hour plus applicable acute and shift differentials.

Eagleville Hospital, located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, is a private non-profit organization dedicated to the treatment, education, and prevention of substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and acute psychiatric disorders.  The hospital serves as a regional resource for the treatment and prevention of alcohol and drug abuse, as well as a national resource for training and research for addiction and related conditions. 

Job Summary

Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning and evaluating patients with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug and/or alcohol dependence and physical illnesses.  Must adhere to the PRN Guidelines: 16 hours of weekend time plus 2 additional shifts per month and one summer/one winter holiday.

Educational Requirements

Graduate of accredited school of nursing with an active PA license

ANCC Psychiatric Mental Health and/or Addiction Nursing preferred

Qualifications

Current State License (RN); Current certification in CPR/BLS

A minimum of two years experience in a psychiatric setting and/or drug/alcohol facility preferred

Ability to communicate well, both orally and written

Ability to organize and facilitate patient care in an inpatient unit

Ability to work within a team structure.

Physical Requirements

Occasional heavy lifting to assist in moving or restraining patients (approx. 100 - 350 lb.).

Extensive walking and standing while performing duties required; ability to push med cart,

wheelchair to transport patients on campus;  ability to climb at least three flights of stairs; 

good oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions

Weekend and holiday duty per Nursing policy.

Exposure to infectious diseases.  

Required to intervene in psychiatric emergencies.
