What can you expect in this role?

  • Report to the Team Leader of the Customer Transaction team, you will be accountable for processing documents and transactions related to the billing, payment and collection processes. Your responsibilities will include customer account deposits, mail assembly, filing, and report monitoring. There is an analytical component to the role where you will need to be able to identify and process exception items.  You will work closely with other team members to attain team goals and maintain service levels.
  • Processing transactions according to defined procedures  to ensure current and accurate customer account information
  • Utilizing problem-solving skills to bring about resolution to exception items
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls to internal and external customers in a contact centre environment to established service level targets.
  • Adhering to Corporate Policies and Procedures and meeting the service standards set for the team
  • Ability to meet deadlines

What do you bring to the role?

  • University degree, college diploma in the area of business or accounting is preferred
  • Must be fully bilingual in the French and English language
  • 1- 2 years of accounts receivable experience preferred
  • Call centre experience is an asset
  • Proficiency in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • This role requires successful clearance of a background check (including credit & criminal checks)
