Description

Responsibilities:

·        Develop and direct a comprehensive recruitment strategy aligned with healthcare industry and stakeholder goals

to collect, analyze, process, and fill more than 10,000 annual healthcare job vacancies from participating employers and 

prepare and refer for employment 30,000 service, clerical and professional healthcare workers, including resume and interview preparation. 

·        Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge guidelines, programs, services, labor market data, and best practices in human resource techniques for recruitment and job placement.

·        Direct and collaborate with other TEF divisions to recruit candidates for healthcare jobs, including TEF graduates and laid-off members. 

·        Direct job seeker preparation services that ensure best fit placements, including resume and interview skills preparation.

·        Direct employer engagement operations to ensure high quality service to participating employers, their HR and operational divisions.

·        Redesign and operate systems to gather and process job vacancies submitted to Employment and Job Placement (EJP), including technology-enhanced abilities to transfer job seeker resume and credentials.

·        Develop solutions-driven recruitment and employer engagement staff located at 5 different sites to drive highest levels of performance and collaboration to ensure effective service to employers, high quality job placements and matching services, and quality support services for job seekers in alignment with TEF people-centered values.

·        Build relational partnerships with students, employers, Union, and CBOs to evaluate and provide “Best-Fit" placements and support on-the-ground job committees. 

·        Collaborate with information technology personnel to redesign and operate technology to support recruitment and assessment of qualified job seekers that results in user-friendly reports, high levels of analysis and continuous improvement.

·        Develop and utilize data analytics to assess recruitment and placement metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. 

·        Coordinate with Executive Director (ED), Operations and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to develop TEF’s annual cross-functional budget projections. 

·        Report finance management outcomes to ED, ELT, Board of Trustee and select key stakeholders including variances between actual and budgeted financial results.

 

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience required (M.A. or M.S. Degree preferred).

·        Minimum of eight (8) years' experience managing staff, teams and partnership programs within a complex healthcare environment required.

·        Demonstrated familiarity and leadership skills within a cross-functional healthcare environment.

·        People-centered consulting and advisory skills—asking questions, contributing ideas, challenging and promoting thinking, clarifying critical issues.

·        Experienced in strategic recruitment for the healthcare industry; demonstrated experience in engaging employer stakeholders to assess and address needs and activity.

·        Excellence in organizational management with the ability to build, lead and develop high-performance team(s). 

·        Project development and new project launch strategies

·        Data Management/Analysis.

·        Demonstrated experience in budgeting/finance management and grants-funded programs.

·        Experienced in Microsoft Suite and Learning Management Systems
