Responsibilities · Data enter Provider’s credentialing information (i.e. applications, correspondence, spreadsheets and provider file folders) accurately and efficiently, as well as identify discrepancies that prevent a field from being data entered; update various provider and credentialing reports · Provide clerical support including but not limited to filing, copying, faxing, collating and scanning, inclusive of uploading scanned images into the Credentialing database · Receive provider recruitment forms through DMS to prepare them for entry into Cactus · Query Cactus database for bi-weekly submission to CAQH · Create, prepare and collate mailings to providers using Microsoft Office · Research, confirm and update various spreadsheets and download provider information from external websites · Respond to inquiries (telephonic or through other methods of communication) regarding receipt status of a provider file or the retrieval of a provider file · Update Excel spreadsheets concerning approved and delegated providers · Review and confirm providers are terminated from various provider systems · Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management Qualifications · High School Diploma or GED required, some College or Degree preferred · Minimum of two (2) years of clerical experience in a general office environment · Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word preferred · Working knowledge of provider databases (i.e. QNXT Medical, QNXT Dental, Cactus, DMS or Windows-based provider databases) preferred · Ability to navigate and perform basic internet searches · Ability to cross reference specific data sets and draw relevant conclusions · Ability to follow through on assignments · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure · May require some moderate lifting and the ability to stand for long periods of time to file or collate. · Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality
