Description |
Responsibilities
- Manage schedule, paperwork (electronic and physical) and develop Microsoft PowerPoint presentations in collaboration with the Director
- Participate in high level meetings with clients and other Training and Employment Fund departments
- Write correspondence on behalf of leadership, take minutes and develop agendas
- Supervise administrative staff in operations which include assignment and direction of the administrative work
- Provide strategic support for all areas within the department
- Monitor project plans, schedule/track milestones and deliverables and document change requests and communication risks and issues
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Healthcare or other relevant fields, or equivalent years of experience required
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in administrative and project management required
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Excellent project management and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Knowledge of labor management and understanding of healthcare reform preferred
- Experience working in a unionized, not for profit or health care setting preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to work under deadline pressure
