Description

Responsibilities

      Manage all activities relating to the opening and closing of the 1199SEIU TEF Manhattan and Bronx sites

      Coordinate with the Facilities Department to maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment

      Act as a liaison with students and teachers in implementing the operational procedures established for the site, and effectively maintain the internal and external relationships of the site

      Assist and act as the site liaison for the coordination of events and classes

      Oversee office and classroom space; order office and facilities supplies; and ensuring timeline service for maintenance of all electronic equipment

      Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management

      Maintain a high level of professionalism and always provide exceptional customer service          

      Must be able to travel within the Boroughs of New York City as needed

      Flexible, part-time, and evening shifts

 

 

Qualifications

      High School Diploma or GED required

      Minimum four years work experience as site resources liaison with emphasis on maintenance duties

      Ability to lift approximately 50+ pounds

      Experience providing site maintenance and maintaining digital equipment

      Dedicated, reliable, energetic, enthusiastic, career-minded individual

      Excellent written and oral communication skills

      Highly organized, detail-oriented and skilled at multi-tasking

      Quick thinking and creative problem-solving skills are required
