Description

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee a team of Engineers and provide advises on planning, design and controls the installation and maintenance of all O\S (Windows & Linux) and server hardware in the enterprise, contributing towards ensuring that the capacity, reliability and availability of the network meet the requirements of the organization
  • Lead the IT server team and provide technical leadership and resource management for Active Directory and IT server infrastructure as well as other projects
  • Lead the engineering team to design and execute the technical implementation of Enterprise Mobility+Intune endpoint management, Azure and Office 365 solutions
  • Provide leadership regarding Citrix implementation and support across the Funds, with emphasis on industry best practices
  • Deliver authoritative support and technical advice to other members of the IT team on all Windows, Linux, Citrix and VMWare issues
  • Provide high-level design solutions taking into account appropriate redundancy, availability scalability, security, and manageability requirements needed for the continuing success of the Funds' critical network infrastructure for both the enterprise and local area networks
  • Ensure the Network and Servers department operates efficiently and productively; conduct metric-based management and deliver the levels of service expected from Information Technology
  • Work with hardware, software and supply vendors; coordinate with the Materials Management Office (MMO) and request purchase orders; ensure proper due diligence regarding the acquisition of hardware, software, and services
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or similar field required
  • Minimum of six (6) years increasingly responsible network and servers administration experience, to include four (4) years’ experience supervising professional staff
  • Minimum of five (5) years engineering, deploying and supporting an enterprise-level Citrix infrastructure
  • Demonstrated proficiency with network and server technologies that will ensure credible performance and future vision for the needs of the organization
  • Excellent vision, leadership skills, and the ability to understand the bigger picture while comprehending details and balancing both sides simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience in managing highly skilled technical staff and managing technology projects
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with senior administrators, unit directors, technology leaders, and support staff on an enterprise-wide basis
  • Good written and verbal communication skills that demonstrate an exceptional ability to articulate vision, direction, requirements and priorities
