Wavelength are currently looking for a Medical Recruitment Consultant to join our permanent team. This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing Recruiter (any previous non-medical desks considered) to inherit a warm perm desk recruiting for ED, O&G & Pediatrics.

To help you succeed in the role you will have access to a 20-year strong database, a wealth of training and support, a manager with 21 years in the industry and some excellent contacts up his sleeve, a large marketing team, a dedicated para consultant (who supports you and one other recruiter), an in-house immigration team, some of the best banter in the industry and the ability to finish up every day knowing you made a real difference in people's lives (the warm fuzzies).

In this role, you will:

  • Candidate source high-calibre candidates with a focus on candidate care and candidate for life (our Doctors are extremely loyal once onboarded)
  • Provide a consultative service to medical professionals and be a subject matter expert in your space
  • Build trust and rapport with senior client stakeholders within the healthcare industry
  • Manage existing client relationships and deliver service outcomes, generating high levels of repeat business
  • Help develop quality new business opportunities and grow your portfolio

The following skills and experience will help you succeed in this position:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Recruiter - Any space, just tell us why your industry is transferable and why you feel you are suited to the role
  • A proven track record in meeting and exceeding billings, activity and client management targets
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to learn and understand complex medical terminology
  • A consultative caring approach - you need to have heart by the bucketloads 
  • A passion for working in the medical industry and making a difference
