The role of Cloud Data Architect at Bennett Adelson is to envision, design and implement innovative cloud solutions. In this role you will collaborate with solution sales team on project envisioning and provide hands-on deep technical skills in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise cloud data solutions.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging opportunity to lead large enterprise cloud data solutions from inception through design & delivery to successful implementation. Cloud Data Architect is responsible for but not limited to: working with diverse customer groups transforming the requirements into architecture and design documents, developing project timelines & estimates, providing best practices guidance, building core functionality, and be a trusted advisor. The ideal candidate will possess customer facing skills that will allow them to represent Bennett Adelson well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel.

Job Duties:

  • Lead design and implementation of native cloud and hybrid intelligent data solutions
  • Use Azure tools and technologies to enable full cloud optimization, seamless elasticity and end-to-end automation
  • Architect solutions utilizing native Azure data analytics, automation, and visualization technologies
  • Member of the Business Development and Technical Sales team helping scope projects
  • Own engagement, ensure customer satisfaction and quality, and timely delivery
  • Speak at local, regional, and national Microsoft conferences

Job Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5 years minimum experience with data warehousing, data modeling, reporting, and working with large data sets
  • Experience working with the Microsoft Azure data products including: Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, Stream Analytics, Machine learning, HDInsight
  • Experience with non-Microsoft BI and data warehousing products (such as products on the Oracle and IBM platforms as well as QlikView, Tableau, and others)
  • Experience architecting on-premises, cloud, and hybrid data solutions
  • Experience working with customers to gather requirements and deliver solutions independently as well as in conjunction with customer teams
  • Proven history of delivering high quality results with high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Web and client-server application development experience a plus
