The Software Product Analyst I position is responsible for analysis, design, testing, and ultimately the success of the Infinite Campus software systems. Will review detailed documents in order to translate into development and testing requirements with a high degree of detail. Analyst expertise with some knowledge and work experience with APIs or SQL. Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a development team. Must be legally authorized to work within country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B) now and/or in the future. 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Break down high-level business cases into functional and/or regulatory written requirements and UI designs.
  • Perform analysis/verification, ensuring that requirements are consistent, concise, comprehensible, verifiable, and based on department best practices using the documentation template provided for this purpose.
  • Work with team members to ensure that requirements are interpreted and fulfilled correctly.
  • Conduct formal user feedback sessions and collaborate to determine how requests fit into product development.
  • Test product functionality; analyze and debug product issues.  
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as channel partners, product managers, support representatives, client executives, architects, developers, technical writers, project managers, and quality assurance personnel.
  • Proofread customer-facing product documentation.
  • Conduct knowledge transfers when needed.
  • Create and deliver presentations to various internal/external users with varying levels of product knowledge.
  • Access Infinite Campus production customer data and production data in public test adhering to the practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines
  • Fulfill other related duties as assigned

Desired Background

  • BA/BS degree OR three or more years business analysis experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • General knowledge of relational database management systems and web-based software applications
