We are in search of a Business Continuity Analyst I or Business Continuity Analyst II to join our Business Continuity department in Spokane, Washington. This full-time position reports to the Director-Business Continuity and is primarily responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of AgWest's continuity plans and practices, and will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks, assess impacts, and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions.

Compensation Information

Business Continuity Analyst I: $57,000-$86,000; bonus at target is 8% of salary.

Business Continuity Analyst II: $69,000-$108,000; bonus at target is 10% of salary.

Job Requirements

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of business continuity plans, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to critical business operations and departments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business continuity plans align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate exercises to test the effectiveness of recovery strategies and response procedures
  • Analyze test results and recommending improvements to enhance the organization's resilience
  • Work with and guide employees on business continuity management software
  • Participate in incident response activities, including crisis management and recovery efforts
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and records related to business continuity activities
  • Support audit and compliance initiatives related to business continuity and disaster recovery

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Emergency Management, Disaster Recovery, or equivalent experience.
  • Generally requires one year's experience in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Internal Controls for Risk, Finance, and/or Technology.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners across all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Certified Business Continuity Planner (ABCP, CFCP, CBCP, MBCP certification or equivalent) or PMI-PMP Certification.
