Executive Office Coordinator

|Work Hours:||8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.|
Duties: Prepare, maintain and update various records and files; Coordinate project activities with other departments/divisions within governmental regulations; prepare and present reports; prepare and process requisitions and request for payments; compose, prepare and review a variety of memorandums; correspondence reports, public notices and documents as assigned; complete forms.
Qualifications: Eight (8) years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience; equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade (12th) supplemented college course work in business administration, public administration, accounting and finance.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT FOR CITY EMPLOYEES:
Within six (6) months from date of employment, must establish residence within the City of Jackson.
PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT, APPLICANT RECOMMENDED FOR EMPLOYMENT SHALL BE REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A URINALYSIS AND/OR BLOOD TEST TO SCREEN FOR ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG ABUSE.
