Description

Duties: Must possess extensive knowledge and understanding of tee times, course play tournaments, outing, programs, lessons, merchandising, and training. Must provide highly efficient and superior customer service, as well as ensure that the staff maintains and provides daily monetary records, reports, etc. 

 

Qualifications: Six years of increasingly responsible experience in parks and recreation program development and implementation, including three years of administrative and supervisory responsibility. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in recreation administration, business administration or a related field. 

 

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT FOR CITY EMPLOYEES:  Within six (6) months from date of employment, must establish residency within the City of Jackson.

 

PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT, APPLICANT RECOMMENDED FOR EMPLOYMENT SHALL BE REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A URINALYSIS AND/OR BLOOD TEST TO SCREEN FOR ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG ABUSE.
