Job Description:  Aerospace Mechanical Source Inspector

As needed to support Source Inspection activity at customer-supplier locations in Orange County, CA.  (Santa Ana, Santa Fe Springs, Orange County, Multiple Suppliers)

Requirements include but are not limited to:

The ability to perform product source inspections including in-process, final, and first article inspections per AS9102 and customer requirements.

·       Experience with hands-on dimensional inspection is required.

·       The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimension and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5. 

·       The ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, cast, forged, and assembled aircraft valve components.

·       The candidate must have experience with inspecting Aerospace parts with GD&T drawing call outs.  Candidate should be experienced with utilizing a computer, MS Office and Internet.  This job is on-call/as-needed basis.
