Wagners is seeking experienced and safety-minded Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (Diesel Fitters) to join our Toowoomba Workshop team. You’ll be responsible for carrying out routine servicing and maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, assembly of heavy vehicles and mobile equipment, and more.
About the Role
- Up to $44.54 p/hr (dependent on experience) + Super + Allowances + Penalty Rates
- Permanent Full-Time, Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday
- Training & development provided across multiple skill areas including the opportunity to obtain a dual trade
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance, servicing, fault finding and servicing tasks on a range of engines and mobile equipment
- Assembling and dismantling of engines, transmissions, and other components
- Follow and comply with all Safety and onsite OHSW procedures
About You
- Open C Class driver licence (HR or above is advantageous)
- Certificate III in Heavy OR Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology OR equivalent
- Demonstrated industry experience and basic understanding of Electronic Diagnostic Equipment
- Ability to work within the NHVAS requirements
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and show initiative
- Professional presentation and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Possess a flexible, adaptable and versatile approach to prioritising tasks in a changing work environment
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment checks including a Medical, Drug and Alcohol screening, Police Check and Reference Checks
