Plant Operator - Concrete

Wagners is seeking a hands-on operator to run our concrete batching process.

If you've worked in manufacturing, transport, mining, logistics, plant operations, or any role involving machinery, mixing, dispatching, or production scheduling - we can train you to become a skilled Batcher.

Full training provided - no concrete experience required.

This role is based at our brand-new Wulkuraka batch plant.

About the role"

• Hourly Rate + Allowance + OT + Super
• Working days - Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays as required (all overtime paid)
• Run and monitor automated batching systems to accurately dispense materials
• Oversee and operate machinery and equipment used in concrete production
• Deliver professional customer service - managing enquires promptly and respectfully
• Place orders for customers and interval stakeholders while managing stock levels
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to minimise downtime
• Communicate with drivers via radio to coordinate deliveries and maintain workflow
• Assist with manual handling tasks to support overall plant operations
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others

 About you:

• Current C Class Drivers licence
• Loader ticket or ability to be VOC'd
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Mechanically minded with practical problem-solving ability
• Able to work in a busy production environment and prioritise work effectively
• A strong team player who collaborates well with others
• Experience in staff supervision or logistics coordination in highly desirable
• highly motivated and reliable
• Confident using computers and completing administrative tasks
