Overview

Epstein is seeking a Transportation Planner or Designer for research, analysis, planning, design and coordination of bicycle/pedestrian accommodations, ADA accessibility, Complete Streets, and transportation improvements. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, proactive and have experience specific to master plans, feasibility studies, Phase I engineering, public involvement, funding, visualization and communications. This position requires candidates to plan innovative and technically sound solutions in accordance with project requirements and application codes.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning or similar is preferred

* 1-5 years of successful project experience in the transportation planning field

* Awareness of other disciplines and the interrelationship of the various elements of planning

* Strong analytical skills; knowledge of analysis methods, technical report and memorandum writing

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

*This position requires candidates to be familiar with ArcGIS, US Census data, and Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud programs.
