Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is looking for three Junior IT Customer Service, for our Virginia Beach Office to join our team!

This skilled individual should provide competent, friendly technical support to Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group staff.

Two schedules are available: Monday - Friday 8:30a - 5:30p ET and Sunday - Thursday 6p - 2a ET.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing support to end users on a variety of issues.
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.
  • Responding to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support.  Documenting, tracking, and monitoring the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Participating in process improvement.
  • Resetting common passwords (ie.AD, Virpack).
  • Clearing copier paper jams.
  • Imaging (setting up) computers for customers.
  • Configuring phones (client side -Bria softphones & Digium Handsets).
  • Assisting customers on setup and accessing voicemail.
  • Configuring and setting up VPN.
  • Running AV/Malware Bites on computer.
  • Assisting with basic Microsoft Outlook issues (archive emails, setup OOO rules).
  • Swapping out broken computer hardware.
  • Assisting with basic BYTE login (select server, connect to VPN).
  • Working under immediate supervision; relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

  • The employee is required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Travel: 0-5% travel may be required but not on a regular basis
  • 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • May require an associate's degree in a related area. A+ Certification preferred
  • Must be able to work overtime on short notice, as required
