Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Junior IT Loan Process Support for our Virginia Beach office!

*This position will provide a mixture of remote and in-office support.*

 We are looking for someone with great customer support skills and computer skills to support ABMG staff in addressing technical issues related to the loan process.


What you’ll be doing

  • Providing support to end users on a variety of technical computer issues related to IT Loan Process (IT LP).
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving basic IT LP problems.
  • Responding to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical IT LP support.
  • Documenting, tracking and monitoring the problem to ensure a timely resolution using a ticketing system.
  • Participating in process improvement.
  • Helping out the team by being able to work overtime on short notice, as required.
  • Maintaining resolutions in a knowledge base and clearly and concisely log and track details of solutions.


What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 3+ years computer experience.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of technical customer support or in a help desk environment.
  • Knowledge of loan process is highly recommended but not required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with a ticketing system a plus.
  • Works under immediate supervision. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Customer Service Oriented with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical processes in clear, easy-to-understand terms.
  • Active listening skills to get clear understanding of issues.
  • Superb teamwork and possess the ability to work well with others.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
  • Determination and a positive attitude.
