Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team.

 

Scope of the position :  This position is responsible for utilizing the information that ABMG has internally to improve quality and reduce errors. Quality Assurance focuses on defect prevention.  Within this department, the Quality Assurance Analyst reviews  policies and procedures to ensure they are efficient to avoid any anticipated defects.  The Quality Assurance Analyst will assist the Credit Risk Department in creating processes to ensure quality in the entire loan manufacturing process. 
 

What you’ll be doing

  • Using information gathered from Quality Control reporting, Delivery Auditing errors, and Credit Policy to establish trends and determine where improvement in quality is needed.
  • Analyzing defects discovered during the Quality Control review and Delivery Auditing process to include how the errors can be resolved. 
  • Working with Operations Management to ensure errors are being properly rebutted or resolved by the appropriate party. 
  • Developing additional training or coaching that would be required from discovered trends.
  • Working with Credit Policy for clarification of policies and procedures that may need to be adjusted or updated based on discovered trends.
  • Assisting with reviewing of new or updated policies and/or procedures prior to them being communicated to ABMG. 

 

What you’ll bring

  • Knowledge of all loan program guidelines.
  • The ability to think critically and make good decisions and communicate effectively. 
  • Must have computer and mortgage software knowledge.  
  • A minimum of 5 years underwriting experience with all loan program types to include FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, and State Bond Programs.
