Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Mortgage Banker Marketing Assistant to join our team! You may work from home 90% of the time or from our Lake Mary, Florida office - whichever you prefer.  Candidates must be local.   


What you’ll be doing

  • Managing marketing for a Mortgage Banker, including providing monthly and quarterly review of marketing activities.
  • Provide an exceptional five-star client care experience. 
  • Daily contact with borrowers to collect items required for processing and answer questions as needed.
  • Manage Mortgage Banker's social media including creating posts and commenting on behalf of the team.
  • Update Customer Relationship Management system (Total Expert) with activities performed and improve connections to clients.
  • Event planning, coordination, and implementation - work with the Mortgage Banker to develop a customized strategy for their business. 
  • Ordering and picking up office supplies and keeping up with office tasks.
  • Assisting with marketing endeavors - pop-ups and client communication.
  • Serving as the gatekeeper to the Mortgage Banker's database and regularly updating it with new client information.
  • Requesting marketing materials as needed for agents.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


What you’ll bring

  • Mortgage industry background preferred, but not needed.  Interest in pursuing a career in the mortgage industry is required.
  • Marketing, events, and social media management experience is required.  Including an understanding of social media platforms, industry trends, new technologies and digital service.
  • Fresh ideas to help position the team as the number one mortgage team in Central Florida.
  • Knowledge of PC environments to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, including copywriting and proof-reading skills. 
  • A happy to help personality and a strong customer service background with a focus on building customer loyalty with a drive to help others.  
  • A proactive approach to all incoming requests and follow ups.
  • Superior listening and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues across various department. 
  • Must have a strong desire to success, be self-motivated and a self-starter.
  • Extremely organized, detailed, and have the ability prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to be creative and adapt to change with solid problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be detail oriented, highly organized, and excellent at multi-tasking while being self-managed.
