Purpose of the Position:

In this role of Sales Engineer, you are responsible for supporting the EMEA sales organization from a technology perspective in Europe. Together with the Sales Manager, RFP Manager and Solution Design Engineer, the Sales Engineer is responsible for delivering high quality product demonstrations. The Sales Engineer demonstrates the technology solution during product demonstrations and is acting as the technical SME with regards to the Extended Workforce Platform during the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Responsible for the delivery of consultative product demonstrations in collaboration with internal teams for prospects, partners and existing customers
  • Creates and maintains configuration of the Extended Workforce Platform for specific product demonstrations
  • Maintains demo scripts of Beeline Extended Workforce Platform functionality
  • Responsible for ensuring the latest new features are deployed to the Extended Workforce Platform and evaluated for applicability into prospect, partner and customer demonstrations for the DACH region
  • Participates in solution design discussions ahead of product demonstrations to ensure the best technology solution is demonstrated
  • Responsible for documenting and sharing market intelligence and knowledge gained with product teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects, partners and existing customers technical SME contacts as part of Beeline’s sales process
  • Collaborate with RFP team in preparing responses when necessary and participate in peer review process for RFP responses
  • Able to keep commitments, deadlines and complete assignments within the allotted timeframe
  • Participate in special projects assigned by management and provide support to special projects as and when required (i.e. Marketing, Partnership & Sales Support activities)

Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to think in solutions and opportunities, with the ability to drive change
  • Comfortable working in a high-performance and open-door cultural environment
  • Excellent English and German language skills are required
  • Experience with CRM technology (desired)

Key Skills, Attributes and Working Environment

  • Experience with Software as a Service technology
  • Great communication skills and ability to adjust messaging to a range of audiences
  • Ability to consult on complex technical processes
  • Ability to self-manage with willingness to accept guidance as necessary
  • Experience with Microsoft Office package is preferred (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Staffing Industry, HR and/or Procurement knowledge preferred, but not required
