A Budget Analyst I job is available with the City of Fort Worth Planning & Data Analytics Department. The Department is seeking an exceptionally talented, inquisitive, and self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for continual learning.
In this fast paced role you will provide detailed analysis and guidance to departments regarding the operational and capital budget processes of the City. Additionally, you will coordinate departmental budgeting, financial, personnel activities and special projects while identifying opportunities to drive efficiency within the department. This role demands a strong sense of urgency, accuracy, sound judgment, and the ability to work with many different people. You will also work frequently with teams on various projects with firm deadlines. Demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while remaining flexible, responsible and extremely adaptable is essential. A good sense of humor is important, as is being proactive and with the ability to simplify.
Key to the position is the ability to be inquisitive, be at the forefront of new processes/initiatives, conduct strong and thorough research and analysis, enjoy continual learning, and meet deadlines.
