Perform commissioning and qualification activities.
Independently execute chemical process by operating designated chemical production machines and equipment.
Select intermediates or raw materials, move and load into production machines.
Perform in-process quality testing to ensure customer specifications are met. Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. Contribute to continual improvement efforts in designated areas.
Understand bill of materials and/or formula specifications, so the proper quantities of materials are added in the proper sequence.
Manufacture product in a safe and timely manner and according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality standards.
Accurately read control instruments, prepare neat & accurate records for all operations as required.
Able to troubleshoot complex problems independently and provide recommendation for correction.
Prepare product packaging for next step in production for final shipment to customer according to department specifications.
Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Diploma / Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or manufacturing related.
Secondary Level or equivalent with considerable experiences in Pharmaceutical, Chemical or manufacturing related is acceptable.
Experience in operating forklift and/or in-house fork truck certification is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of GMP manufacturing processes and GDP.
Able to incidental lift objects of 25 kg.
Willing to work in a 3-shift or 12 hours shift system.
