A well-established European MNC, a Manufacturer of Chemical intermediates.
Responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring products through the complete production cycle for 2 Manufacturing Plants in Singapore & Korea.
Utilizing plant fabrication lead times and historical performance data to create schedules, collaborating with production and material personnel to ensure streamlined operations, and conducting training on issues like demand flow for new programs.
Evaluate and determine estimated equipment set-ups, cycle times, and work center hours. Serve as a liaison between customer service personnel and purchasing on the scheduling of raw material purchases.
Monitor material flow to ensure shipping goals are met and collaborate with engineering personnel on the creation of production bills of materials.
Develop Master Production Schedule in company system to prepare requirements for purchased and manufactured parts.
Ensure to maintain desired inventory levels.
Review requests of new sales order and provide practical promise dates to client service prior to promised orders.
Prepare reports required to facilitate and suggest actions to assure optimal execution of supply chain.
Supervise company stability, oversee reasons to schedule changes and ensure root causes for volatility of schedule being resolved.
Head responsibility to achieve and sustain adherence to company rules associated with Master Scheduling.
Assist company in constant process improvements and facilitate problem-solving teams.
Identify and recommend feasible solutions to plan operational issues.
Degree in Supply Chain or related discipline.
At least 5 years' experience in Master Scheduling, from Chemical industry.
Possess experience in SAP and managing Manufacturing Plant for Korea entity is a must.
Ability to travel within the region (includes Korea).
Proficient in MS Excel.
Reporting to US HQ and Operation Manager (Singapore).
Working Location: Jurong Island (Transport pick-up is provided from Jurong East MRT).
Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8am to 4.30pm.
