Our client is a reputable brand in the shipping industry. In view of expansion, they are currently seeking well experienced shipping professionals to join them as "Marine & Vetting Superintendent (Gas Tankers)".

In this role, your overall responsibilities will include amongst others : plan and schedule vetting inspections, preparation of vessel audits, vessel clearance, SIRE/CDI trend analysis, performing navigational and internal audits onboard vessels, HSEQ matters etc etc

Requirements:

• Master Mariner or Chief Officer with sailing experience on board Gas Tankers.
• Minimum 2 years shore experience on Gas Tankers.
• Possess hands on experience in handling cargoes such as Ethylene, Butadiene-1,2,3, VCM and Butene-1.
• Must have knowledge of ISM/ISPS/MLC/ISO Codes.
• Must be conversant with SIRE/CDI system and TMSA requirements.
• Well versed in regulatory, class requirements and international standards.
• Certification for ISM, ISPS & MLC Auditor, DPA and CSO will be added asset to have.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a positive mindset
