Our client is a Shipping MNC located in town. In view of expansion, they are currently on the active lookout for a suitably qualified candidate to join their team as " Compliance Offcer/ Manager".

Responsibilities:

• Setting up of rules and guidelines to comply with global economic and financial sanctions
• Risk Analysis relating to bunker trading and logistics activities
• Evaluate and plan control and compliance activities to mitigate risk of fraud and corruption
• Strengthening of internal controls of the company’s bunker trading activities
• Perform compliance background checks

Requirements:

•  A good Degree in relevant field.
•  Relevant experience of 5 to 8 years in performing compliance background checks or risk assessments in financial services or trading framework will be a great asset.
•  Meticulous and with a strong flair in documenting processes/policies/rules and guidelines
