Job Responsibilities 

  • Strengthen the relationship with existing customers to increase the sales & market share
  • Work closely with channel partners to grow the business in this region
  • Understand the customer requirements, respond to commercial & technical queries from customers
  • Develop and formulate a Sales strategy and implementation plan to grow business in the defined market
  • Study/understand the focus customers’ applications, existing competitor offerings and pain areas to leverage sales
  • Prepare proposals, present our products/services, negotiate, benchmarking with competitor and conclude the sales
  • Identify & communicate to the marketing team about the marketing platforms like exhibitions, seminar, product and corporate presentations and new product launch for visibility
  • Conduct market research, analyze competitor movement with strong lead generation to position the company as the preferred drives supplier in the assigned region
  • Work with global sales / marketing / product and application team to work with local OEM for developing applications for customer business to meet their requirement for regular business
  • Co-ordinate with internal support and service team for drive commissioning and installation support
  • Handle existing customers in Singapore and provide them with the support they need (Distributors, System Integrators, OEMs)
  • Identify, assess, and develop new sales channels (Distributors, System Integrators, OEMs) 
  • Develop long-term relationships with all customers, handling and interpreting their requirements.
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Degree/ Diploma in Electrical/ Power Electronics/ Electromechanical Engineering
  • Preferably minimum 2 years’ experience in Variable Speed Drives & local market
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Good Time Management
  • Proactive , keen learner
  • Sound judgment and good business sense
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, Team Player
  • Good ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
  • Resilient, Persistent, Independent, Tenacious
