Responsibilities:

• To conduct and perform all related activities in the following:
• In export shipment – to coordinate with internal and external forwarding agents for export shipment arrangement
• In import shipment – to monitor and follow-up with forwarders/ agents to see to if shipment is received as scheduled
• Verify freight invoices and compile the monthly import/ export freight
• To support compilation for intent to submit for insurances and customs authority
• To seek freight quotations, to support RFQ and recommendations on good forwarding agent

Requirements:

• GCE ‘O’ level or professional certification in Supply Chain and Logistics
• Diploma in Logistic Management / Business & Administration preferred
• 3 years working experience in handling import and export shipment arrangements
• Equipped with knowledge in basic international shipping rules, shipping terms and related customs requirements
• Patience, good communication skills and able to interact, adapt to demands in fast pace sub-contract manufacturing environment
