Our client is an established Shipping MNC. Currently, they are seeking a well experienced individual to join them as "Customer Service Manager (Shipping)”.
Responsibilities :
- Freight quotation to customers for local export & cross trade shipments
- Filing of customers’ Special Rate Request
- Maintain & follow up credit terms customers
- Handling of VIP customers’ accounts
- Feeder rates negotiation and managing of feeder contracts
- Tender negotiation
- Prepare monthly feeder report for management meeting
- Assist to declare import declaration or Transhipment Local container Instruction
- Arrange empty trucking to depot.
- Assist empty reposition from Sin depot to overseas PODs
- Assist to place booking for customers whenever support is required
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in relevant field with ideally 5 years or more experience in container shipping industry, with 2 years in managerial/ supervisory position
- Meticulous and able to work in a dynamic work environment
- Good customer service management supervisory skills
