Our client is a Global Forwarding MNC. In view of expansion, they are currently looking for a well experienced and sales driven candidate to join them as "Business Development Manager (Hybrid Farmer/Hunter)(Forwarding MNC)".
In this role, your responsibilities are (but not limited to):
- This is a hybrid role involving the right candidate to farm (50%) as well as hunt (50%).
- Active participation to local RFQ, collaborate with both Products & Pricing team for timely submission.
- Meet & exceed GP & Volume growth in line with Sales targets/KPIs
- Focus on strong client engagement through high level of services and trusted relationship to drive sustainable business growth and profitability
- Develop and execute business expansion plan with key stakeholders to improve sales conversion ratio
- Responsible for all business-related matters pertaining to new business implementation, scope of agreement, business improvements and ongoing service performance
- Well planned & organized daily sales activities / pipeline through CRM tool
- Responsible for ARs
- Timely submission of reports
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Head of Sales
- Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Management or other related field
- Ideally 3 years or more of sales “hunting and/or farming” experience in freight forwarding industry with proven track record
- Good business acumen, contract negotiation and presentation skills
- Sales driven, results-oriented and customer service minded
- Good command of the English language (both written and spoken)
- Good team player
- Hardworking with a never say die attitude
