Responsibilities:
- Serves as 1st point of contact for any core operations support
- Trade validation, matching, confirmation and settlement for trades in SG, HK and Japan
- Matching of OTC derivatives (IRS,CDS, CFD), FX instruments (including FX Options), Securities (Equities, Bonds) and Futures
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely clearing of all confirmation breaks
- Establish working relationships with other employees, particularly with the local portfolio Managers and Traders
- Handle handover of responsibility daily to the Ops teams in Europe, control risk & procedures on all daily tasks
- Process improvement and resolving issues timely, while adhering to regulatory requirements and escalating issues to management if required
- Support team and take on any Core Operations (e.g. Transaction Management, Collateral, Reconciliations, Corporate Actions) duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree holder with 3-5 years Fixed Income/OTC Derivatives Transaction experience in Asset Management industry, investment banking or financial vendors Processing/Middle Office
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Solution-oriented, meticulous and diligent
- Team player with good communication skills and possess service excellence
