Our client is a reputable name in the Shipping Industry. Currently, they are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as "Manager (Budget)".

In this role, you will be contributing in the following areas :

• Overseeing the annual budgeting exercise, variance analysis and KPI tracking
• Compiling and analysis of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for the Group
• Perform variance analysis of actual results against the budgets and investigate the underlying reasons for the variances.
• Analyze and report pro-forma results on a periodic basis
• Perform reconciliation between financial accounts and pro-forma results.
• Identify KPI and work closely with business units to achieve and excel KPIs
• Support stakeholders in business and finance related matters, including review and streamline of finance operations for greater synergy and effectiveness in process and systems
• To provide information to various consultants during critical period
• Lead IT-related automation projects
• Any related accounting initiatives or work assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or related discipline
• Min 8-10 years experience in Finance / Accounting department
• Chartered Accountants and Certified Public Accountants preferred
• Possess knowledge and experience in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Good analysis skills, strong working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Independent and able to work in a fast-paced and voluminous environment within demanding timeline
• Possess good leadership qualities in leading junior staff and liaising with internal & external parties
• IT savvy, able to multi-task, resilient
• Fast learner, able to pick up systems and work processes quickly
• Good business acumen and stakeholders management skills
