Plant Performance Monitoring - Provide monthly yield performance and unit consumption information to Plant teams
Perform process troubleshooting and adjustment to ensure Plants 1/2 are operated safely and meets production target optimally.
Track productive time. Provide monthly report summarizing productive time performance.
Develop and implement process/equipment improvements to optimize the effective capacity of each process and improve yield performance.
Schedule the plant’s production in order to maintain adequate inventory levels, while at the same time maintaining a balance between manufacturing efficiency and inventory costs.
Lead/participate in Preliminary Hazard Reviews, Process Hazard Analysis, and Operational Readiness Inspections.
Project Implementation - Assist with development of the capital budget.
Lead/participate in root cause investigation and corrective action of process quality excursions, customer complaints, and quality audit findings.
In cooperation with the Operations Manager, serve as the DCS, PI, Process Control and Historian system administrator.
Develop and implement cost saving ideas.
Assist the Operations Manager and Production Teams to control and reduce all operating costs including labor costs.
Requirements:
Min. Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent discipline
Minimum 2-5 years of process engineering experience in the Chemical / Petrochemical Industry
Possess Yokogawa configuration, programming, and administration skills.
Good initiative and able to work independently
Good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to respond to emergencies as requested (including nights, weekends, and PH)
