Our client is an established Shipping MNC. Currently, they are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as " Asst/Tax Manager”.
This role will primarily be tasked with the following responsibilities :
- Review, develop, execute and maintain the group's inter-company transfer pricing policies, protocol and framework.
- Assist Group Tax Manager on ad-hoc group tax matters and support all tax compliance/advisory matters.
- Collect and gather data & information for the purpose of preparing transfer pricing documentation report.
- Liaise with external agents to manage and prepare transfer pricing documentation to support inter-company transactions in compliance with local regulations in the region.
- Analyze & set prices in accordance with transfer pricing documentation reports.
- Conduct regular internal review of transfer pricing policies in accordance with the latest tax regulation developments and manage transfer pricing audit where applicable.
- Analyze & plan business strategies relates to taxation.
- Support tax aspects of Group direct & indirect tax and ensure compliance with local country tax requirement.
- Act as internal business advisory on all tax matters for region, include both direct & indirect tax for the Group.
- Participate in project as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Finance / Accounting / Business or any related discipline
- ACCA / CA / CPA
- Minimum 6 years of relevant transfer pricing experience in one of the Big 4 and/or MNC
- Good understanding of transfer pricing regulations & regional tax regimes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- SIATP accreditation will be advantageous
