Our client is a reputable Shipping MNC. In view of expansion, they are currently seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as "Asst/Manager (Compliance and/or Legal)(Shipping)".

In this role, you will be responsible for the following :

• Provide hands on support and advice to business division in ensuring that business is run in compliance with laws and regulations and proper compliance risk analysis.
• Research the latest development of legal/compliance topics and keep the management / organization updated.
• Maintain and improve the quality of company’s compliance activities and update the relevant corporate compliance rules based on the research.
• Support the business projects – in terms of Legal support (both compliance and contract negotiation).
• Administrative support work for smooth communication.

Requirements:

• Good Diploma/ Degree with more than 2 years exposure in the areas of Trade/ Marketing/ Operations/Chartering/Claims/Corporate or Compliance in shipping domain (preferably).
• Possess relevant knowledge in compliance related issues such as competition, antibribery etc
• Possess Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint
