Our client is an established Shipping MNC. Currently, they are seeking a well qualified candidate to join them as " Senior Manager/Manager (AR & AP)”.

This role will primarily be tasked with the following responsibilities :

• Supervise AP and AR functions  
• Regular monitoring of debtors aging, collections and reconciliation and creditors aging, payments and reconciliation, timely payment and timely preparation and submission of GST reporting
• Reviews of finance operations for greater synergy and effectiveness in process and systems to achieve global sight on AP, AR, cash management
• Work with business units to review and push for greater automation in finance processes
• Review and implement control mechanism and policies with changes in finance work model and automations
• Any other projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/ Commerce Accounting or equivalent, with at least 8 years relevant experience in fast paced environment in a large organization
• Good business partnering skills with hands-on approach to problem solving
• IT savvy, forward looking and process driven mindset to apply IT to integrate and improve work processes and productivity
• Proven leadership with good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under demanding timeline & fast paced work environment
