Responsibilities:
- Responsible to support the Head, Operations & Administration to enable Company’s strategic growth and development.
- To work closely with other team members in the Department and Hospital to raise the profile and enhance the image of entire Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Media Relations
- Formulate media relations strategies to profile the Organization positively through well-placed media stories and responding to queries received from the media.
- Managing sensitive issues that surface in the media (e.g. fee revision, bed crunch) or crisis/adverse publicity (e.g. court case, complaints to the media).
- Liaise with MOH, Corporate Communications team and/or external organizations to co-ordinate any national, cluster or joint media matters to ensure the Organization is appropriately represented.
- Media monitoring: Traditional and new media platforms.
Communications
- Custodian of Corporate Identity: Counsel on implementation of corporate logo and templates.
- Corporate collateral: Corporate newsletter, brochures on medical conditions/services, etc., special/commemorative publications, corporate video, inputs for corporate or external publications (e.g. publications produced by MOH, MOHH).
- Communications counsel and support to Clinical, Ancillary, Allied health and Admin functions/Departments - editorial oversight for collaterals and general communications materials.
- Corporate initiatives - Participation, as required, in any projects, corporate initiative, staff recruitment, fee revisions, etc.
- Custodian for internet and intranet websites, corporate Facebook page, guidelines governing use of Social Media channels.
- Other internal communications channels, e.g. Center Director’s Message, messages from management.
- On-site communications channels, e.g. feature walls, display of contents on notice boards, etc.
Events
- Organize/support corporate events and activities.
- Counsel for Department's events (protocol).
- Assess and coordinate corporate visits involving Senior level Guests/Officials.
- Support for VIP relations (Patients/Visitors).
- Assess and facilitate Public requests (e.g. filming, photography, collaborations).
- Any other duty as assigned by Head of Department.
Requirements:
- Minimum University Degree, preferably in Mass Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
- At least 5 years' experience in Internal Corporate Communications in a large setting.
- Candidate from Healthcare industry and/or Public Sector/Statutory Boards is an advantage (Please be informed that Marketing Communications experience would not be considered).
- Hands-on experience in managing Company's internal communications and working knowledge in SharePoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creative, meticulous and results-oriented.
- Good project management skills, adaptable and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Other Information:
- Working Location: West.
- Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
- Critical: Due to the organization's affirmed support and commitment to developing a Singaporean core, this role is only available to Singaporeans.
