  • Our Client is a well-established Healthcare Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent will support Research activities not limited to Clinical trials, Retrospective and Prospective Data study and Clinical epidemiology for database management, data integrity, data analysis and research efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Research Collaboration

  • To support research work within the Organization, driving towards data-based evidence in support of Organization’s services.
  • To collaborate and coordinate in projects with external and internal stakeholders to expedite research request.
  • Conduct literature reviews and write reports on correctional research studies.
  • Collate and analyze research data.
  • Write reports and present findings when needed.
  • Monitor and follow up on status and progress of research projects.
  • Maintain database and highlight slow progress to Manager.
  • Provide publication related support. 

Clinical Epidemiology

  • Work with HOD/Manager to review data needed for organization planning and decision making.
  • Provide Clinical outcome report for Medical Director.
  • Support the Clinical Epidemiology in the following areas:
    1. Data Capturing
      • Oversees the maintenance of current databases and ensure data quality and integrity.
      • Collaborate with other departments on relevant data collection for current and future needs.
      • Source or search from existing internal or external data sources for comparison or benchmarking.
      • Develop format for collection of new or additional data for new projects or initiatives.
      • Continuously improve data set collection and format to suit organization and patient needs.
      • Monitor for timely and accurate completion of data collections.
    2. Data Analysis and Reporting
      • Collate and ensure data collected is readily available for analysis and trending.
      • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in various data set.
      • Interpret data and provide summary findings of data analyzed with intelligence for meaningful use by relevant departments.
      • Develop graphs, reports and presentations of data sets.
      • Perform statistical analysis and correlations of data parameters.
      • Assist to provide timely Summary Report according to stipulated timelines.
    3. Ad-hoc
      • Participate in any new research projects assigned.
      • Generate ad-hoc reports requested by Senior Management.
      • Collaborate with other clinical departments in designing & developing study tools when required.
      • Review datasets for possible abstract submission.
      • Monitor available conference for possible participation.

Administrative Duties

  • Assist HOD/Manager to carry out department work plans and provide Administrative support where needed.
  • Assist to coordinate departmental resources to provide the required operational and administrative support to department.
  • Serve as preceptor/role-model to guide and coach departmental staff.
  • Liaise with other departments for better understanding and coordination of workflow and any projects which may arise from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Statistics or Health Science with hands-on experience in Statistics.
  • Experience in both Quantitative and Qualitative Research methodologies.
  • Proficient use of Statistical software.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, in particular MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in Research, Field work and Publication.
  • Independent, self-motivated and a team player.
  • Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiar with local ethical guidelines and best practices in search.

Other Information:

  • Working Location: Toa Payoh.
  • Working Hours: Mondays to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.30pm; Fridays, 8.30am to 5pm.
  • Critical: Due to the organization's affirmed support and commitment to developing a Singaporean core, this role is only available to Singaporeans.
