Responsibilities:
- The incumbent will be empowered to review, conceptualize, initiate and implement recommendations to improve service quality, operational efficiency and patient satisfaction level in the assigned Dialysis Centers (DCs).
Key Responsibilities:
Managing of Operational Related Matters
- Conduct periodical reviews of the general operation, identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
- Resolve all operational issues at the DCs and provide guidance and support to OAs in ensuring the smooth operation of the DCs that is under your purview.
- Manage the growth and development of OAs by identifying learning needs and opportunities.
- Responsible for raising non-clinical incident reports.
- Work closely with the Nurse Manager in preparation of obtaining DC license, DC license renewal and internal/external audits.
- Provide Administrative support during the setting up of new DCs.
- Implement foundation policies & initiatives at the DCs.
- Work closely with the Nursing Zone Lead, Nurse Manager, Infection Control team and other supporting departments to deliver high healthcare standards.
- Collating of data for project, drafting of administrative papers and coordinating meetings and events and prepare presentations.
- Liaise with both internal and external parties on operational issues.
- Participate in foundation and/or functional group, DC activities.
Stock and Product Management
- Ensure optimize usage of DCs storage space and actively monitor stock replenishment process in all DCs together with Operations Assistants.
- Responsible for the new product evaluation feedback and reporting of defective products of the DCs assigned.
Facilities, Environmental and Security Management
- Responsible for the engagement of facilities management/vendors for all maintenance/repair related matters of the DCs you are assigned.
- Monitoring of scheduled maintenance works to ensure timely delivery by vendors.
- Management of cleaners and ensuring their compliance to the cleaning contract.
- Coordinate with BLD and Nurse Manager to work out the yearly repair/maintenance budget.
- Liaison with facilities management department and CISCO on DC security matters.
Events Management
- Coordinate with internal departments (DVM, CCO, ComCare and Allied Health) to ensure programmes and events planned for the DC is being carried out smoothly.
Asset and Equipment Management
- Responsible for the yearly asset verification exercise.
- Responsible for the dialysis chairs/medical fridge maintenance and repair.
- Work closely with BME to ensure that all medical equipment in the DC are fully functioning.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree holder.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Healthcare and/or Social services settings.
- Proficient with MS Office, especially in MS Excel.
- Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and coordination skills.
- Able to multi-task, work independently and be a team player.
Other Information:
- Working Location: Toa Payoh.
- Working Hours: Mondays to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.30pm; Fridays, 8.30am to 5pm.
