Our client is a reputable name in the Shipping Industry. Currently, they are seeking a well experienced candidate to join them as “ Container Terminal Manager (Commercial)".

In this role, you will be contributing in the following areas :

• Development & set up of new logistics business for Container Terminal, Depot/ Transportation(Feeder/Truck/Barge/Rail), 3PL/4PL etc
• Market research, project feasibility & P/L analysis, J/V partner discovery and negotiation, supporting establishment of a corporation.
• Managing existing logistics business facilities
• Profit/Loss Management
• Sales activities for attracting new customers

Requirements:

• Degree in Maritime/ logistics or shipping related discipline.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant container terminal experience in a shipping setup (with a commercial/Business Development perspective)
• Good to have exposure in depot too, although not a must
• Possess good terminal/depot business network
• Familiar with terminal charges and handling of contracts
• Analytical and Commercial savviness
• Results Driven
