Responsibilities:

• Lead and Supervise the Finance Operations team which manages Receipts and Payments to ensure that the team’s objectives and KPIs are met.
• Review and approve relevant financial transactions such as bank payments/journals/invoices, ensuring compliance to policies and accounting standards.
• Review and ensure timely and accurate submission of withholding Tax returns to IRAS.
• Monitor College’s reserves and portfolio of investments and propose investments of reserves based on parameters approved by Human Resource & Finance Committee.
• Involve in annual budget/forecast exercises, including preparation of budget/forecast papers for submission to Board of Directors for approval.
• Ideate and innovate to improve or automate Finance processes to establish, maintain and improve customer experience and efficiency across the organisation.
• Provide financial advisory services to internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with central agencies, banks and auditors on financial matters.
• Responsible for the financial operations of a subsidiary company.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or related professional Accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with last 2 years in a Supervisory role.
• Dynamic and self-motivated individual with strong analytical, writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with business process analysis, and/or RPA process design and automation best practices.
• Strong business and financial acumen.

Other Information:

• Working Location: West.
• Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
• Critical: Due to the organization's affirmed support and commitment to developing a Singaporean core, this role is only available to Singaporeans.
