The CTA Officer will be responsible for managing compliance risks, performing risk-based compliance testing and thematic reviews to provide insights into the health of key controls addressing risks such as AML, investment suitability, cross border, etc.
Responsibilities
- Execute compliance control testing and thematic reviews on effectiveness of key controls across compliance risks (anti-money laundering, investment suitability, cross border and others)
- Identify issues and mitigate risk by working on control improvements with control owners
- Prepare draft reports on issues and remediation actions for discussion with Team Lead
- Assist to track & ensure timely execution of risk-based CTA Plan
- Assist in preparation of periodic management information reports
- Escalate significant compliance issues
- Participate in meetings and any other duties
Requirements
- Degree holder with 5 or more years’ experience in a compliance, risk and control and/ or audit, in private wealth environment
- Meticulous, responsible and adaptable
- Strong time management, organizational skills, communication & interpersonal skills
