  • Our Client is a well-established MNC, in Petrochemical and Oil & Gas.
  • Reporting to: General Manager, Stakeholder Relations, Performance & Change Management.
  • Sole contributor, successfull Candidate should be analytical with good with MS PowerPoint and presentation skills, excellent stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the first point of contact for all documents sent to the Centre of Excellence which may eventually be sent to the CEO or Board of Directors for approval.
  • Ensures that documents submitted are of high quality and standards. He/She will works closely with business leaders in developing proposals, by challenging the business case and assumptions, and ensuring that proposals are aligned with Company's Delegation of Authority (DoA), policies, and overall business strategy.
  • Provides advice to stakeholders on the closing of audit issues, bridging the gap between theory and business practices, and ensuring that solutions are actionable and applicable to Company's operating requirements.

Key Responsbilities:

Executive Support and Coordination

  • Build good working relationships with senior functional leadership to shape positive outcomes and impact business growth.
  • Coach stakeholders on the process of seeking Owners’ approvals as per DoA.
  • Work with key stakeholders by identifying inconsistencies, challenging business cases and assumptions, and ensuring that all materials submitted to the Centre of Excellence is of the highest standards and are aligned with Company’s DoA, policies and business strategy.
  • Prepare and draft communications from the CEO to Owners, ensuring that information is accurate, concise, relevant and easily understood.
  • Review and compile Board meeting pre-reading materials, ensuring that approval requests are clearly explained and supported by relevant information for easy understanding.
  • Design, develop and maintain a system to track all documents submitted and screened.
  • Track commitments made to the Board and Owners, and design an accountability framework to ensure that the business delivers on those commitments.

Post-Audit Implementation

  • Understand complex business processes and the full range of risks related to policies, processes, regulatory compliance, and technology.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline company processes to minimize future audit issues.
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit and business partners to identify and build consensus on the most effective and efficient solutions to close out audit actions.
  • Ensure that solutions are not only technically sound, but actionable and tailored to Company's operating context.
  • Track and report progress of follow-up actions, and verify that audit issues are resolved to satisfaction.

Balanced Scorecard

  • Facilitate the development of Balanced Scorecard for the annual business planning exercise, based on the company's strategy and focus areas for CEO approval.
  • Challenge performance targets to ensure alignment and consistency in KPIs across all functional and corporate scorecards.
  • Manage and facilitate quarterly scorecard review to identify gaps for improvement.
  • Review and enhance existing processes to drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.

Indirect Sales Channel

  • Perform periodic reviews of the Indirect Sales Channel procedure to identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Coach stakeholders in the approval process required.
  • Conduct and consolidate annual performance reviews of all Indirect Sales Channels, and summarize key findings to the CEO.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree (preferred) or Bachelor's Degree from a reputable educational institute. 
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas industries would be an advantage.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and cultural awareness in cross-functional teams across the organization.
  • Strong planning skills and have a sharp eye for details & quality mindset.
  • Good time management skills and able to work under pressure.

Other Information:

  • Working Location: Jurong East.
  • Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
  • Critical: Due to the organization's affirmed support and commitment to developing a Singaporean core, this role is only available to Singaporeans.
