Responsibilities:

  • Perform learning needs analysis, with close link to company’s operations and business goals
  • Source for suitable training providers for both in-house and external courses
  • Manage training budget
  • Conduct analysis based on training data and propose appropriate interventions
  • Keep pace with changes in WSQ or other training framework
  • Develop competency model for technical and non-technical positions
  • Develop development programmes essential to attain the competencies identified
  • Review the various learning modes that best meet the needs of the organisation
  • Provide advice and assistance to sectional managers and facilitators on OJT blueprint development and reviews, maintain proper records and implement OJT activities
  • Develop e-Learning platform and expand its usage
  • Lead the team to ensure the compliance of ISO9001/14000/18001/50001/22301/27001, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), and requirements as stipulated by key shareholders
  • Maximise funding support from relevant government agencies

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management with 8 years relevant working experience in the area of training and development with demonstrated skills and proficiency in applying the principles, concepts and techniques of training and development and ISO Quality Management
  • Good working knowledge of Competency model
  • Preferably with Unit4 or equivalent HRIS implementation experience
  • Driven and innovative with strong leadership skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to handle all levels of stakeholders
  • Good organisation skills
  • Customer focused and pro-active in working with business partners
  • A confident, creative thinker that possesses continuous improvement mindset and the willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Demonstrate discretion, integrity and upholds confidentiality to the fullest extent
